Kyle Richards has shared her thoughts on The Real Housewives of New Jersey not having a reunion this year.
Speaking at the Posse Pride Party in Hollywood on June 7, Richards told PEOPLE, “It seems like they get to dodge a bullet.”
Richards, a longtime star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, has attended 13 reunions, including a tough season 12 sit-down with her sister Kathy Hilton that left her in tears and wanting to skip the final toast.

Garcelle Beauvais, Richards’ castmate, agreed, saying, “Not having a reunion is shocking. But there’s gotta be a reason for it, whether it’s toxicity or something.” Beauvais spoke at the Pride event, which supported the LGBTQ advocacy group GLAAD and promoted her castmate Erika Jayne’s new single “Dominos.”

When asked if she would skip a reunion, Beauvais, who has been on RHOBH for four seasons, laughed and said, “I would always want to skip it. But it’s like the Super Bowl of what we do.”
As PEOPLE reported, the RHONJ cast won’t have a traditional reunion after season 14 due to ongoing conflicts among cast members Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Dolores Catania, Margaret Josephs, Jennifer Aydin, Danielle Cabral, Rachel Fuda, Jackie Goldschneider, and Jenn Fessler. This conflict also led to split panels at BravoCon in the past two years.

Teresa Giudice said on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, “Pretty much everything I had to say, everyone’s going to see it this season.”
Andy Cohen explained that the season finale will serve as both the finale and reunion. “It feels like the last supper. It’s shocking, dramatic, and amazing TV. When you see it, you’ll feel complete. Bravo is planning something in place of a reunion,” he said.

Every Real Housewives season has had a reunion, except for season 13 of The Real Housewives of New York City, which was poorly received and led to a complete cast change the following season.
Season 14 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey is currently airing on Bravo. Season 14 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, starring Richards, Jayne, Beauvais, Dorit Kemsley, Sutton Stracke, and newcomer Bozoma St. John, is currently in production.
