Kate Middleton looked amazing at the annual Trooping the Colour parade on Saturday, celebrating King Charles’ birthday. This was her first royal event since Christmas and since starting cancer treatment.
The 42-year-old Princess of Wales arrived in a horse-drawn carriage with her three children: George, 10, Charlotte, 9, and Louis, 6. Later, they all stood on the palace balcony, waving to the crowd with Queen Camilla and King Charles, who is also undergoing cancer treatment.

Middleton wore a white Jenny Packham dress with black trim and a ribbon at the neck, a modified version of the dress she wore before King Charles’ coronation. She added a regimental brooch for the Irish Guards, whom she serves as honorary colonel.
Although Middleton missed the Irish Guards’ rehearsal last weekend, she announced on Friday that her cancer treatment was going well and she would attend the parade. She shared on social media that she’s “making good progress” but still has “good days and bad days” with chemotherapy.

Middleton’s treatments will continue for a few more months, but she hopes to attend more public events over the summer. She thanked everyone for their support and said she needed time to heal after her abdominal surgery in January.
King Charles also announced his own cancer diagnosis six weeks ago, but the type of cancer has not been specified. The palace confirmed it is unrelated to his previous health issues.
