Justin Timberlake Breaks Silence After Arrest with Important Social Media Post: ‘This Is Crucial Right Now’!

Justin Timberlake is celebrating a special moment after his DWI arrest on Long Island, New York.

On Tuesday, June 25, the 43-year-old musician performed at Madison Square Garden in New York with his Forget Tomorrow World Tour. He gave a shoutout to the New York Knicks in his first social media post since his arrest on June 18.

To mark his NYC performance, Timberlake made some tour T-shirts in the Knicks’ blue and orange colors and shared a video on Instagram showing the merch.

In the clip, Timberlake wore a black T-shirt and cap and was seen holding up the Knicks-themed shirts. “This is so important right now… let’s go! Got your Knicks colors,” he joked in the video. His last Instagram post was on Father’s Day.

“We had to do it!” Timberlake sang, as someone off-camera said, “Bing, bong.”

“Had to do it 👀 @nyknicks,” Timberlake captioned the post.

The *NSYNC star, who will also perform at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, June 26, has been continuing his tour despite news of his arrest in Sag Harbor last week for allegedly driving while intoxicated or impaired.

PEOPLE confirmed that Timberlake was charged with one count of DWI and received two citations—one for running a stop sign and one for not staying in his lane. The “SexyBack” singer appeared in court on Tuesday, June 18, and was released shortly after.

At his show on Saturday, June 22, at Chicago’s United Center, the Grammy winner thanked both new and longtime fans, celebrating nearly three decades together.

“This tour feels special, more than any other,” Timberlake said. “Many of us here tonight have grown up together. So many of you tell me, ‘I grew up with you, man.'”

“I want you all to know I’ve grown up with you too,” he continued. “You’ve been such a big part of my life, and I can’t always find the words to thank you for sticking with me.”

The night before, on June 21, Timberlake performed his first show since the arrest at the same arena in Chicago. He told the crowd, “It’s been a tough week.”

“I know I’m sometimes hard to love, but you keep loving me, and I love you back,” he added.
