“It’s the best feeling in the world being your mom,” the actress said while celebrating her oldest daughter’s birthday.
Jessica Alba is celebrating her oldest child’s big birthday!
On Friday, June 7, the 43-year-old Fantastic Four actress posted an emotional tribute to her 16-year-old daughter, Honor, who she shares with her husband Cash Warren.
“Happy 16th birthday, Honor ❤️🥹,” the proud mom began in her Instagram caption, which featured a montage of photos and videos of Honor from the past 16 years.
“I’m crying as I write this – being your mom is the best feeling in the world. You’ve always been sweet and wise, trusting only those closest to you – it’s inspiring,” wrote the Honest Company founder.
She went on to praise Honor’s “beautiful, calming energy that lifts our family,” her authenticity, thoughtfulness, kindness, and “amazing ability to help others without getting caught up in drama,” adding that Honor is “the shoulder so many rely on.”

“I’m so proud of you for doing what feels right instead of what’s cool, for always putting your mental health first, and for chasing your dreams without hesitation,” she added.
“You’re an incredible person, and you’re only 16! We are all so lucky, my baby, and I’m so grateful for our relationship and bond. You chose me to be your mom, and it’s been the greatest gift, my angel.”
Alba ended the heartfelt message with, “I love you more than words can say. You’re growing up too fast for me 🥺, but I couldn’t be prouder.”

Warren, 45, also celebrated his daughter’s birthday with a heartwarming Instagram post. His photo carousel included a selfie with his daughter and two more individual pictures of her.
“Honor, you’ve spent the last 5,840 days getting ready for this moment. You’ve put in 140,160 hours of practice. You’re more than ready for 16. You’re going to make the most of this year! Leave no crumbs,” he started.
“Your foundation is built on empathy, which makes it strong and ready to support whatever you build on it. Keep pushing yourself beyond your comfort zone. You can handle it.” He added that when he thinks of his daughter, he feels a strong sense of pride.

Like Alba, he praised their daughter’s “rare ability to be both emotionally open and very practical,” adding, “Your beauty isn’t just on the surface. It shines from your soul.”
The movie producer then joked about his daughter now being able to drive. He said that although he’s enjoyed driving her to school, he’s looking forward to not being the only “Uber driver” in the house anymore.
“I love you so much, my baby girl! Happy birthday!! Love, me,” he finished.

Besides Honor, the couple has two more children: their son Hayes, 6, and their daughter Haven, 12.
