Tom Hardy has never officially said he is gay or talked openly about his sexuality. Keeping up with his bold attitude and upfront answers, in a conversation with Now Magazine in the year 2010, the actor revealed that he had sexual relationships with men when he was just a teen. As he spoke he also clarified that he was done with the experiment phase and now does not wish to do it anymore.
Tom said, “Of course I have. I’m an actor for f**k’s sake. I’ve played with everything and everyone. I love the form and the physicality, but now… it doesn’t do it for me. I’m done experimenting but there’s plenty of stuff in a relationship with another man, especially gay men, that I need in my life.”
In the same interview when he was asked “Has he had done it at all,” Tom said, “Not all but I can imagine. … It just doesn’t do it for me, sex with another man. But there’s plenty of stuff in a relationship with another man, especially gay men, that I need in my life. A lot of gay men get my thing for shoes. I don’t think I’m metrosexual, but I’m my mother’s son. I have definite feminine qualities and a lot of gay men are incredibly masculine.”

It’s just a shame things are misconstrued and I don’t get the opportunity to explain.’”Not even the time he said he’d enjoyed relationships with men in his twenties?”
“I have never put my penis in a man,’ ‘I’ve never had a cock in my arse, and I have no fucking desire for it. If that’s what you like, cool. But it doesn’t do it for me.’ He’s irritated that his words were taken out of context but conceded, ‘One thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about.”
